Construction is one of those industries where reputation and innovative designs are quite important. Therefore, robust IP protection and enforcement not only serves to dissuade rivals but, more crucially, may boost a construction firm’s worth and reputation beyond anything else. This article seeks to explain the nexus between various forms of intellectual property and the real estate industry and aims to create a strong argument in favour of why players of this industry should protect and enforce intellectual property seriously.
